Design for Manufacturability
Concurrent engineering and design-for-manufacturability (DFM) practices accelerate the time to manufacturing and therefore the time to market. Design centers are maintained in Silicon Valley as well as in Penang, Malaysia. At our Penang plant we use full PCB assembly using surface-mount technology (SMT), auto insertion, manual insertion, and chip-on-board (COB) technologies.
Thermal Management
We use theoretical modeling with SolidWorks and COSMOS modeling and analysis tools, plus empirical testing to evaluate each product under various levels of stress. This data enables us to predict and maximize product lifetime.
